Apartment Studio Sawmill
Studio Sawmill is a beautiful and modern apartment in a nice neighbourhood close tot the historic city centre of Utrecht, Netherlands. It is situated on the ground floor in a house that was built in 1910. In 2008 it is completely renovated and renewed. The surface of the indoor living area is 65 m2. A garden (38 m2) with veranda is attached to the sunroom.
Location and access
The walking distance tot de central square ‘De Neude’ is 12 minutes. Within 15 minutes you will have reached the ‘Dom tower’, the landmark of the city of Utrecht. By car as well as by public transport Studio Sawmill is very easily accessible. It is situated not far from the access roads (but no noise at all). Until midnight every 10-15 minutes busses transport you tot the Central Train & Bus Station (a 10 minute drive) and tot the historic city centre with its canals, shopping areas, cinema’s and museums. With our parking permit you can park in front of the apartment.
View on the street and the garden
The big doors made of glass give a free view on the small park with trees and grass in front of the building. At the back of the house big doors connect the sunroom to the terrace.
Kitchen
The modern and beautiful olive green kitchen is very comfortable. It has a dishwasher, an oven & magnetron, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machine. Eating at home will be a party! This makes Studio Sawmill extremely suitable for kitchen lovers.
Interior
The entire apartment is furnished with Dutch Design Classics. The wooden floor is made of French Oak tree.
Toilet and shower
The shower is decorated with mosaic tiles from England. It has a ‘floating’ toilet and the floor has tiles in an antique design.
Sleeping
When the whether is fine, you can have a look at the stars in the sky from your bed: part of the ceiling is made of glass. With a simple movement, the bed disappears in the closet. This gives you extra space for living.
